Client: WITF, PBS member station in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania
Official Launch on April 30, 2003 from Pennsylvania Capitol Building by Judge Marjorie O. Rendell, First Lady of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
- Served as Project Manager for ExplorePAHistory.com, an educational site on Pennsylvania history based on the historical markers throughout the commonwealth
- Created overall project schedule
- Served as liaison between WITF; the content producers (Pennsylvania Historical Marker Commission); the designers (Ripple Effects Interactive); the image rights manager; WHYY (which provided 32 historical audio narratives for the site); and the lesson plan team (Learning Design)
- Led weekly conference calls to ensure project was moving forward smoothly
- Created templates for submission of content, and later for submission of beta testing feedback
- Solicited approval from team on designs, wording, layout, etc, and interpreted this feedback for delivery to the designers
- Worked daily with team members to answer questions, make decisions, request materials, send reminders, and keep project moving ahead
